So That

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV

So That defines what I do. This verse was included in my devotional, Praying for Your Addicted Loved One: 90 in 90, because it forms the basis of why I share our family’s journey through addiction. It’s why I open the windows of our family’s experience to let you know what we went through. So that I can encourage another mother desperate for a word of hope. So that I can tell the story of what God did with and for the Cosbys.

This new website will echo that sentiment. We want to encourage you in your recovery journey, either for yourself or for a loved one. There are thousands of families devastated by addictions of one sort or another and oftentimes they feel isolated and helpless. I understand that feeling very well.

My blogs will be inspirational and informative. Resources to help you wrap your head around what it going on in your family will be provided. I’m an avid reader and love sharing books or articles I’ve read on the subjects of recovery, hope and encouragement.

You will find a page that provides some of my speaking topics. If you need a speaker for a women’s event or retreat, I’d be honored to be considered as a speaker. I, of course, can tailor a topic for your specific needs.

Please stop by often So That we can grow together and carry each other’s burdens. You are not alone.

Blessings and hope for today.
