This verse summarizes the reason Sharron shares her story: So that she can encourage someone desperate for some hope. Using humor, southern charm and God’s Word, she connects with audiences as she shares her story of hope and encouragement. While recovery is her focus, she certainly can, and does, speak on other topics.

Hope Hooks – Where do you hang your hope when your world is crashing down upon you? Your spouse? Your job? Your chances of winning the lottery? Sharron helps the group recognize their
source of hope—God’s Word.

Help! My Knees are Locked! – Fear paralyzes us. We can’t move forward. Sharron recalls times in her life, humorous and serious, when she froze with fear and will help the group recognize their own areas of fear and what can be done to overcome them.

Peace in the Pain – Sharron shares her experiences of living with an addict. She leads the group through scriptures that encourage and uplift in spite of facing difficult circumstances. Individuals will learn there can be peace while enduring pain of loss, illness or other life situations.

Rock in My Shoe – Have you ever had an object in your shoe and continued to walk despite the discomfort? Together we will explore why we limp along in pain and what we can do to remove the offending discomfort.

From the outside it looks like you’ve got it all together when on the inside, you’re spinning like a top. This presentation is based on Psalm 90:3, “Be still and know that I am God.”

He offers practical advice for parents, siblings, employers and community leaders on the effects of addiction in the family, workplace and community. When Your Problems Follow You to Work – Employees coping with addiction issues at home often drag the problems to work. How does an employer handle the lack of productivity? This presentation provides practical tips to assist an employer facing employees with an addiction problem or a family member with one.

Medical Marijuana – Pros and Cons - Are there really medical benefits? Do addiction rates rise in states where it is legal? Is marijuana a gateway drug? This presentation is an eye opener as Dan provides information relative to teens smoking marijuana, the differences in the marijuana cultivated today versus the sixties and seventies and medical benefits to smoking it. What Is Your Addiction IQ? – This presentation provides solid scientific information about the root causes of addiction, what behaviors to look for, and what to do if problems arise.
